Roswell Home in Sentinel on the River Subdivision Raided for Sales of HGH, Testosterone, and Copy-Cat Cialis

May 14, 2008 · Print This Article

When my roommate got home yesterday, he mentioned that he saw at least fifteen police squad cars pull into Sentinel on the River subdivision and saw a helicopter hovering above.

As it turns out, a married couple living in Sentinel on the River in a $700,000 home on Sentinae Chase had been producing human growth hormone (HGH), testosterone, copy-cat versions of Cialis and selling it on the internet. Authorities had been investigating the couple for the past three months. Investigators say the house was setup like a drug manufacturing assembly line, actually putting the chemicals together. The couple sold $25,000-$30,000 a day, making more than $100,000 a week selling the drugs over the internet all over the country. It is believed the couple had been producing the drugs for years, however it wasn’t until recently when authorities received a tip that they began investigating.

The home and everything in it was seized by Food and Drug Administration Investigators, but the couple who have not yet been arrested were free to leave on their own which has several neighbors angered.

The home isn’t far from the office so I decided to take a little field trip to see what kind of pictures I could obtain. If it weren’t for the Channel 5 News van and photographer out front I would’ve missed the house. The house looked just like any other house on this upscale street, the garbage was out front, a u-Haul trailer and silver Dodge Charger in the driveway…no police tape anywhere. I actually caught a glimpse of a couple exiting the Charge, however was unable to obtain a picture.

According to reports the couple were not arrested yesterday…is the couple the two individuals I saw exiting the Charger? Is the u-Haul being packed as we speak to prepare for their flight from this country? I would think that a couple earning $25,000-$30,000 dollars a day would be a HUGE flight risk, but there didn’t seem to be much commotion around the property during my photo shoot. One neighbor was outside gardening with her two golden retrievers…just another day on the block I guess.

I was able to lookup the house to see pictures from when the house previously sold. The description from the listing agent was, “ELEGANT ALL BRICK WITH GORGEOUS POOL AND SPA. DESIGNER ARCHITECTURAL DETAILS THRU-OUT. SPIRAL FLOATING STAIRCASE, 2 STORY GRANDRM W/ WALL OF WINDOWS. FORMAL DR. BEAU FIRESIDE MAST MAIN. GOURMET KIT W/POOL VIEWS.”

Below are two images from the listing:

It is shocking that such an operation could have been conducted inside of such an elegant house!

Further investigation led me to uncover the current owner’s name and online records tying her to an Anabolic Steroids, Bodybuilding Discussion Forum, ads for glass and plastics, labeling and encapsulating machinery, as well as what appears to be the company’s website. If the drugs this couple were distributing are indeed illegal, they sure left a pretty sticky trail on the internet!

So what’s the big deal. What it looks like they were selling research chemicals. Nothing hazardous on their site that I can see. It’s not like they were selling crack. I don’t see Growth Hormone on their site, if they were selling it who cares? It’s not like it’s even a controlled substance. In fact nothing they dealt with was or else DEA would have been involved. Heck the FDA was involved and they aren’t even Law Enforcement they are only regulatory agency.

Just because they live in a nice house people have to make a big deal about it?? I can see if they have dead bodies buried under the house. Seems like a nice quiet harmless couple to me. All you people in the neighborhood are like “Who would of known”? Like they we’re holding people captive in their basement. What they were doing was harmless sounds like to me.

[...] The drugs that the couple actually distributed were openly advertised as non-scheduled “research chemicals” for several years on their websites. Federal authorities seized drugs that are the active ingredients in brand name drugs such as Viagra, Cialis, Dostinex, Clomid, and Arimidex from their home in Roswell, Georgia. [...]
